Labor & Employment Practice
We provide comprehensive legal services to our Labor clients.
We work with Labor Unions during collective bargaining to identify and design proposals that promote the industry for the benefit of the members. We draw on our experience in ERISA to help the bargaining parties understand the issues facing fringe benefit plans, since strengthening the benefit plans is often critical in negotiations. We prosecute grievances, assist in organizing efforts, and represent our clients Labor Union Clients before the National Labor Relations Board.
Our Attorneys also assist our Labor Union and Fund Clients in employment matters relating to their employees. We draft and revise employee handbooks and manuals to ensure they are up-to-date and in compliance with the relevant employment and labor laws. We assist in internal investigations and disciplinary actions. We defend our Union and Fund Clients against claims or litigation brought by their employees.
